In the course of the third and fourth semester the students prepare two project assignments of approx. 20-40 A4-pages each under guidance.

The written assignment may be combined with practical work. The departments ensure that each student’s two project assignments cover topics which reflect the main areas of the curriculum.

The purpose of the project assignments is to develop the student’s ability to collect, process and communicate knowledge about a clearly defined subject in order to become familiar with relevant literature and basic experimental methodology.
